as the frost on the ground thaws, we at fairmont ridge are wishing our millions of dedicated readers a very happy and prosperous new calendar year. yes, a new calendar year, for there are many ways of measuring time and the western julian calendar is but one. so the nonsense about 2012? don't sweat it. the real destruction is happening all around us, as we watch and bear witness to a system of exchange of goods and services that is rotten to the core as it comes crashing down by the force of its own bloated weight.
