hooray for obsessive art!

Yay! here's a india ink design i made in the old moleskine yesterday, very relaxing and healing at the same time. i've been so stressed out due to health problems, stress due to -where oh where am i going to be living in a few months- concerns and the logistics of moving. yuk! can i say i am, as an earth sign, not very amenable to moving in the least. i hate it. and now it is rapidly approaching yet again, a mere 11 months after our last move. its strange 'cause i do love traveling, and i feel i do it very easily, as long as i have my favorite books and some pens and paper, i'm good. but i detest the packing, the expense, and the general chaos of relocation.

here's some beautifully colored altered cd's painted by "i biddy boo" cindy pettit of georgia & canada. i met her through the sharpie scouts and we trade mail art. the scanner really doesn't do them justice, the little bird is adorable.

to everyone and everybody who keeps up with the millions of others who check by this blog- harharhar- happy new year! may this year bring all creativity and good will, strength of spirit and energy for sharing. as usual i have photos i have scanned to the computer that i need to find before i post them. any one care to comment about the lack of tech know how? anyone? anyone? bueller?
it is simply amazing to me how i manage to muddle through the stuff that i do.

Eid Mubarak

Today is Eid el Adha, the sacrifice.... the timing this year should not lead others to think that this has anything to do with xmas, c'mon we are on a lunar calendar, peoples! kinda quite around here but planning to do something later. i might get some presents later. whoohoo!

i received this beautiful photo and two great aTcs from annick serpault of france last month after i sent her three of my atcs. i lost them on the computer and couldn't figure out where they were. so here they are now- one month later.
