an end of an era

As i drove away from the golden foothills of where i had lived for two decades, i glanced back in the rear view mirror and watched as the mission peak skyline faded into the distance. it was strangely surreal, yet exciting as a new chapter in my life opens up. kitty whiskers was less than happy on the 50 minute car ride. but after we arrived at our cute little four-plex apt, and let her out to eat some delicious salmon mix, she seemed to forgive me, as she wandered among the boxes and sniffed to her hearts content. here is a pic of my little sweetheart. ok this picture is not loading the normal way, i will load it through flickr.
hopefully as my life begins to settle, i will have the chance to post a little more regularly.

apologies and ramblings

To the millions (yes, millions!) of you my faithful readers
i apologize con todo mi corazon my laziness...its just that i am consumed with thousands of things i need to do to move, get ready for new job, make enough art to fill my journals for my class to show examples on how to i filled my journal and have enuf time to snuggle kitty whiskers, edit my daughters papers, and pay some attention to my sweetie.
anyhoo, here is a pic of something i worked on recently.
